Connor Silvester
Registered Psychologist
Hi, I’m Connor. I’m a psychologist who values creating a safe, down-to-earth space where people feel heard and supported. I focus on meeting people where they are at and creating an environment that feels authentic and meaningful for them. My approach is flexible and evidence-based, shaped by each person’s unique needs – whether that means talking things through, building strategies, or simply slowing down together.
I work with adults, adolescents, and people navigating health challenges, chronic conditions, or terminal illness. I have a special focus on supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing. Much of my work helps clients adjust to injury, illness, pain, and stress, as well as manage anxiety, depression, and health-related concerns.
My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based strategies to help clients build resilience and find ways forward that feel meaningful for them.
Alongside my clinical work, I am an academic researcher focused on improving mental health screening and culturally responsive care. I also work with athletes and performance settings, supporting individuals through the mental and emotional demands of sport — though my practice extends well beyond sport and performance into broader health and wellbeing contexts.
