Clinical Psychologist

MSc (Clin Psych, Distinction), BA Hons (Psych, Summa Cum Laude), MNZCCP

I am a passionate Clinical Psychologist committed to promoting mental well-being and fostering personal growth. In my most recent role, I specialised in conducting neurodevelopmental and cognitive assessments for the Starship Community team at Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand. In private practice, I provide specialised intervention and assessment services through ACC sensitive claims and psychological services.

My professional journey has taken me through diverse settings, including roles at the Regional Youth Forensic Service(Tū Māia) at Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, within the Perinatal and CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health) units in Sidra Medicine, Doha, Qatar, and the Department of Correctional Services and private practice in South Africa. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of clinical, correctional, youth forensic, maternal mental health, and neurodevelopmental fields.

I provide tailored assessment and treatment for individuals across age groups, including adults, adolescents and children aged 7-18. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, informed by Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Brief Dynamic Therapy, and Mentalization Therapy modalities.

I am equipped to assist with assessment of mental health, neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disability, peri-natal/maternal mental health, trauma and mental injury (including ACC sensitive and psychological claims), major depressive and anxiety disorders, refugee mental health, adjustment difficulties, and general mental health and well-being.
