I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of clinical and forensic experience across Aotearoa New Zealand, Qatar, and South Africa. I have a strong commitment to enhancing mental well-being and fostering psychological growth, and meaningful change through evidence based, compassionate care.

In Aotearoa New Zealand, have held specialist roles at the Regional Youth Forensic Service (Tū Māia) and Starship Community Child Development Service, and private practice. Internationally, I have served in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Perinatal Mental Health units at Sidra Medicine in Qatar, focusing on maternal mental health, infant bonding, and attachment. In South Africa, I worked within the Department of Correctional Services, compiling forensic reports for sentenced adult offenders, and conducted Child Custody Evaluations for the Family Court context.

I currently provide specialist psychological assessments for the Youth Court and have been appointed as a Specialist Report Writer (SRW) for the Family Court. I am also a registered ACC provider, providing specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions under Sensitive Claims, Psychological Services, and Functional Assessments for both adolescents and adults. I also conduct comprehensive psychological, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental assessments as well as therapy tailored to the needs of each client.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and informed by a range of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Narrative Therapy, Brief Dynamic Therapy, and Mentalization Based Therapy.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral research, Auckland University of Technology, examining a developmental preventative pathway for children with neurodevelopmental impairments at risk for youth justice involvement in Aotearoa New Zealand (currently on hold).

  • Certificate in Youth Forensic Psychiatry, Medical and Health Sciences

  • Master of Social Science in Clinical Psychology (First Class Honours)

  • Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Psychology (Summa cum Laude)

Fees and Payment

Assessment and therapy sessions are priced at $220 (inclusive of GST) per hour.
